Technology Program (NDSCS)


About The Technology Program

The Case IH Diesel Technology Program is designed to develop technically competent entry level service technicians for Case IH dealerships regionally and throughout the United States. Plains Ag sponsors students in Case IH Technology Program at NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND up to $2,500 per year.
Students receive up-to-date technical training on Case IH equipment and systems through a combination of classroom instruction, hands on laboratory instruction and internships at sponsoring dealerships. Completing approved programs at other institutions can also qualify for Plains Ag’s program (ask for details). Upon graduation you will have the opportunity for employment with Plains Ag which includes competitive pay, excellent benefit package, education/tuition reimbursement, continued training opportunities, room for advancement and work life balance.

Paid Internship

Work experience at the dealership is structured to relate to the most recent classroom and lab subjects covered at school. We offer competitive starting hourly wages. Plains Ag supplies the student with Plains Ag approved uniform shirts for the student’s use while in school and during internship as well as $75/month tool reimbursement (receipts required). Upon graduation you will have the opportunity for employment with Plains Ag which includes competitive pay, excellent benefit package, education/tuition reimbursement, continued training opportunities and tool reimbursement, room for advancement and work-life balance.

Qualifications

*Must be 18 years of older by the time of first internship *High School Diploma or GED required* Apply for admissions to Case IH Technology program and obtain a Plains Ag Case IH Sponsorship *ACT required for acceptance into school - Score is based on school requirements *Basic mechanical aptitude *Clear communication skills, both written and verbal *Willing to listen, learn and participate *Exhibit a positive attitude *Maintain a clean and safe work environment *Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 while in the program *Work the minimum number of internship hours required by the program *Must be present and on time for work and school *Must pass pre-employment drug test.
